Roger grew up in the south end of Louisville and attended the Taylor Blvd Church of Christ as a kid, and into his adult years. It was there that he married the love of his life, Teresa, in 1973, and subsequently had two daughters. Roger and Teresa moved to Okolona in 1987 while looking for an active youth group for their daughters, and have been active here ever since. Roger is now retired from DuPont and Lubrizol, where he enjoyed a career in the chemical industry. He took his career seriously for Christ, striving to live a life of integrity by working as if he worked for Christ and not just his bosses.
Roger and Teresa accepted the mission of serving as a shepherd family at Okolona in 2015 and have been blessed to share life with others here. He loves how people love each other here and is a regular at golf and fishing outings with other Okolona members.
